Les became Director of CI Accountancy in October 2010. He has over 25 years experience in high street banking, dealing with businesses of all sizes. In 2005 Les left banking to set up his own business consultancy, Business Support Direct, motivated by his desire to work closely with both new and existing businesses to help them grow and develop. Les is professionally qualified with management, customer service and sales experience. Les specialises in Business Planning, Finance, Business Development and Business Start-ups.

Within Les’s role at CI Accountancy he is responsible for operations, client services provision and marketing and takes the lead on business advisory and consultancy services. Les is a strong believer in providing excellent customer service and states “excellent customer service is not achieved by meeting expectations, but by exceeding them”.

Les lives in Hexham with this wife. His main hobbies are playing golf (not very well) and watching any kind of sport on TV. In any remaining spare time Les is an enthusiastic member of English Heritage, having a passion for visiting castles.

Shaun joined CI Accountancy in 2008 after studying for a BSc in Mathematics at Loughborough University and went on to achieve his ACCA qualification in 2013. During his time at CI Accountancy Shaun has gained a wealth of experience both internationally and locally. Shaun provides a professional service that meets the best interests of the clients and their businesses. In particular he enjoys working closely with clients to help resolve their queries. He is an active member of Mid Tyne Business Forum and has represented the practice at the annual Business Planning  Conference.

As part of his role at CI Accountancy Shaun is responsible for International and Personal Tax returns as well as Cloud Accountancy options.

In his spare time Shaun enjoys playing golf, watching football and is an enthusiastic Newcastle United fan.

TRACY GRAHAM – PAYROLL MANAGER

Tracy joined C I Accountancy in February 2016 after 14 years working in a local Car Franchise Dealership where Tracy was responsible for the Payroll, Accounts, HR and Staff Training. Tracy’s role at C I Accountancy is as the Payroll Manager and includes processing client’s Payroll and completing the mandatory HMRC RTI Submissions. Tracy also advises on PAYE, NI obligations and Auto Enrolment (work place pension) requirements and gets involved with client Bookkeeping and preparation of VAT Returns. Tracy lives in Hexham and has 2 grown up children. She enjoys spending time with family & friends, looking after her home & garden, going to rock concerts and is an avid follower of MotoGP.

NICKY HALL – ADMINISTRATOR

Nicky joined CI Accountancy in October 2015 as Office Administrator, after 11 years working as the assistant supervisor on a local garage forecourt. Nicky’s role includes client liaison, sales and marketing and organising the office! Nicky is usually the first point of contact for anybody getting in touch with C I Accountancy. She really enjoys talking to people so is perfect for the role – if you want to contact us please feel free and ask for Nicky. Nicky moved to Hexham 20 years ago, from the small country village of Blanchland where she grew up. A local girl with lots of useful local knowledge which regularly comes in handy for a business based in Hexham town centre. In her spare time, she enjoys getting outdoors including helping out on a friends farm.
